Perkbox appoints former Zendesk Sales Director as VP of Sales EMEA

Next step in company’s international expansion plans

London, UK, 14th June 2018 – In line with the company’s international expansion plans, Perkbox, UK’s fastest growing employee benefits platform, is continuing to ramp up its activities by disclosing some further organisational changes to its London HQ, the appointment of Robert Blackler as VP of Sales EMEA.

Previously Senior Sales Director, EMEA, at Zendesk, Blackler will be joining the team to help ensure the company continues the fast pace of growth it has enjoyed to date. After more than doubling its growth for the second consecutive year - £4.3m in 2015 to £14.7m in 2016 and £34m in 2017 (unaudited) - Perkbox aims to secure +£50M turnover by the end of 2018.

Having spent the last six years growing the EMEA sales team at one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the world from pre-IPO stage, Blackler will be in charge of all aspects of Perkbox’s Employee Engagement Sales machine – SME, Mid-market, Corporate and Sales Development Reps (SDRs), making sure the company is in the best position to become the global leader in the market.

The announcement follows shortly after the company’s completion of its brand new scalable platform, which will allow to deploy multiple products in global markets as a plug and play.

Perkbox is also currently evaluating acquisition opportunities, building strategic relationships and joint-ventures in seven global markets in EMEA, North America and Asia. It already successfully completed the acquisition and integration of Loyalty Bay, late last year.

As Perkbox’s global expansion plans continue, Blackler will be key in assisting the company when rolling out its sales approach and infrastructure to other countries and upskilling the team so as to be able to handle multi-product and multi-bundle sales.
