So, what is Global Reward?

Global Reward is a fully borderless, currency agnostic, points-based reward system that allows you to instantly allocate rewards as points to employees anywhere. Employees can then choose how to spend these points — opting for anything from a meal delivery service to an exercise class. The pioneering system empowers people to choose the rewards that bring them the most value and positive impact on their lives.

How the new update makes your life easier

If you’re one of the early adopters of our Global Reward feature, you’ll know that our main limitation when we released it in July was the limit on how many employees you could reward at once.

We knew how important this was, so we made sure to prioritise this exciting release.

Guess what? Now, you can reward any number of people that you like! Sounds good right?

This means:

  • Rewards can be sent to more than 30 people in one transaction
  • Celebrating company milestones, holidays and making small gestures of appreciation to your entire team will take seconds
  • You can save even more time

How to make the most of the update

  1. Once you’ve got enough points in your Reward wallet, you’ll be able to select a new option to ‘upload a CSV’. Choose this if you’d like to reward multiple people at once. To use this option, you’ll need to upload a CSV containing a single list of the employee email addresses you would like to send a reward to. Next, input the amount of Reward points you would like each employee to receive.
    Note: You can still select up to 30 individual employees as before. Group rewarding will allow you to process up to 1,000 rewards with a single action.

  2. To do this, you’ll need to upload a CSV containing a single list of the employee email addresses you would like to send a reward to. Next, input the amount of Reward points you would like each employee to receive.

  3. Once the CSV is uploaded, the system will check if the formatting is correct. If the file has errors, for example it is not a CSV, the email addresses are in the incorrect column, or the addresses themselves are invalid, you will be notified at this step. When you move to the next step, we’ll also check that the email addresses match those of your employees on your Perkbox account.

  4. Once all of your employee details have been uploaded, you can continue with Reward as usual, by adding a personalised note and tagging any Company values.

  5. That’s it! You are ready to hit send. Your Reward points will then be sent to your employees, who will receive an email and push notification to let them know.

A transaction report will be sent to your email address where you can view a breakdown of which employees received their rewards successfully.
