Perkbox appoints Shahid Naveed as Chief Product and Technology Officer

London, UK, 2 November 2026 – Perkbox, a leading global employee benefits and rewards platform, has appointed Shahid Naveed as Chief Product and Technology Officer to lead the next stage of its platform’s development, with a focus on making benefits easier for employees to discover and use, and helping employers measure the value of their investment.
 
Naveed joins Perkbox’s executive leadership team and will lead a technology division of approximately 70 people across product, engineering, IT, cyber security, data, analytics and insight. 

Working across Perkbox’s unified platform, Naveed will focus on improving the employee experience and making it easier for HR and reward teams to deliver value from their benefits programmes. As AI technology continues to develop rapidly, he will also explore how the technology can improve customer outcomes, including helping HR teams interpret benefits data and identify actions that could improve engagement. 

Naveed brings more than 20 years’ experience across fintech, marketplaces, SaaS and global technology platforms. Most recently, he was Chief Product and Technology Officer at Freetrade, where he led product, engineering, data, information security and workplace technology for an investment platform serving more than 1.7 million customers. As part of its executive leadership team, he helped lead the business through its acquisition by IG Group, including leading technology due diligence from the seller side, then driving further growth unlocked by IG Group’s investment.

Naveed’s earlier experience includes helping Auction Technology Group through its IPO and leading globally distributed engineering teams at Amazon. At Amazon, he oversaw the migration of billions of customer records from legacy platforms to modern distributed services without customer disruption.
